I am so happy to finally have a Bloom Day post that I don’t even mind how meager the bloom. I will definitely plant bulbs in my new garden this fall.
These delicate plants were among the exceedingly few flowers at our new house. Lawn used to be the theme, but no more. These Dutchman’s breeches grow near the back door, right up against south wall of the house. I love them.
Carol of May Dreams Gardens, you have my everlasting gratitude for inventing Garden Blogger’s Bloom Day. I am so happy to be able to see what is in bloom all over the country.
Hi Pat, my Dutchmans breeches aren’t blooming yet but it seems that everything else that can at this time of year is abloom. I am not surprised that you can grow primrose with the dampness in your garden. I just love these plants but they just burn up during summer. Happy GBBD.
Great. It is my first GBBD too.
Glad you’re adding a garden to the house instead of lawn. Cheers!
Beautiful!
Happy Garden Bloggers’ Bloom Day!
Happy Easter!
Happy Bloom Day, Pat! Isn’t it great when spring finally gets into full swing. Happy Easter!
Happy Bloom day! Sometimes the first (of many, i’m sure!) blooms are the most appreciated!
Hurrah for plants and Bloom Day. Happy Easter too Pat.~~Dee
Hooray for spring! I was so happy to finally have some blooms to share this Bloom Day, too. It’s helped that we have had unusually warm weather for April. Can’t wait to see the progress on your garden in the coming months.
