It does not seem fair that we have been working in the flower garden with delight, but we woke up this morning with snow on the ground. Then rain, cold rain, began melting snow – slightly.
There was a period of snow during the night, but before noon a gentle freezing rain began.
Perhaps you will be able to see the way water is melting the snow. While looking at the shades of the water, you will be able to see the white snow that lives on higher land.
The sun is shining and the ice is melting!
In late afternoon, the ice had melted.
I’ve been watching the snow and ice. I worried about the flowers, but it looks like they are are still shooting up. Hallelujah!
Looks like March! Stay cozy until it warms up.
These early season bloomers are so tough, aren’t they? We had a similar snowfall, and now it’s changing over to rain, which I welcome. 50s for the next two days. Yay.
