I’m glad to hear that you escaped the wrath of Sandy, Pat! It’s always a bit sad to close up the garden in the fall and yet rather satisfying to tidy up at the same time. I helped last week as we put the county nursing home garden to bed and also part of our MG Idea Garden, both places I volunteer in the summer. My friends and I both commented it’s a lot faster to cut back or pull plants than to deadhead and prune them:)
