On Sunday Henry and I drove up to Heath, our old farmland, to join our good friends – with children – on  a glorious day. For 30plus years we lived with wonderful  people in our little town.

More friends were gathering over the afternoon at Bill and Jean’s house.  We wandered over the lawn to enjoy all the flowers that are blooming. I had never seen so much color. Our host has arranged different beds of beautiful color.

All kinds of flowers are arranged in different beds. My husband and I wandered around these large beds and  could not find more delight.

Of course, there are many other treats. and more conversations.

I loved the different flower beds – and there were several – at our friends’ home.  Our backyard garden is  here in Greenfield. It is different but it is wonderful to have beauty in your own backyard, too.
