Heath – Paintings and Friends

Yesterday we drove up to Heath for an Annual Art Event – with all kinds of Art, oil paintings, photography, watercolor, pastels, weaving, felting, embroidery and much more.

Old Stone Bridge by Suzanne Hannay

Of course, there were many beautiful works like Suzanne’s stunning painting, but the light in the room did not always hit the art works properly.

Bob Gruen admiring the artwork.

I had a wonderful time looking at all the beauty made by friends who have been so skilled.

Don Dekker’s Walk in the Woods is a charming painting – and I was delighted that there were no glimmers hurting the painting.

The Uncles of the Pioneers Playing their music

We expected to find beautiful art works in the building – but there was another treat – the Uncles of the Pioneers who are great musicians and added more to the afternoon.  Heath is a lucky town, full of The Arts, and we are lucky.

Friends in Rowe

Henry and I were late arriving at the Lake but BJ gave us supper and we had time to chat – catching up with everyone.

The Lake — BJ, Dan and Nick

The Lake was the final treat for the day. Dan and BJ were having a few minutes alone, but young Nick joined  them.  It was a wonderful day with art, music, friends and good food. We are a lucky couple.
