The new year, 2017, has dawned. The blank pages of the calendar and the buried garden await the challenges and pleasures of the new year. All best wishes to all.
Beautiful photos: quintessential winter! It rained all night here in NS so there’s nary a sign of even where drifts had formed or plows had made piles. I hope the ground is not too frozen to absorb this water: it is much needed. A good new year’s start for next season’s gardens. Happy New Year!
My goodness. You sure have a lot of snow. Your garden looks sweet with those little trees and shrubs poking up out of the snow. Keep warm. Happy New Year.

Lisa – the snow has been beautiful. We are so glad for all precipitation.

Helen – A New England snow is lovely, and fortunately it has not caused too many problems so far.

Pretty snow scenes!
We have snow forecast way down here in north Mississippi today (Friday) with below freezing temperatures.
Happy New Year!
