It is raining today but the garden has these beautiful Japanese anemone. The rain is beginning to make it bow, but the rain is gentle and I hope the flower will last for a while more.
The Sheffies are pink and yellow, and they have been lounging all month. The rains have beaten these beauties down. The flowers will soon be asleep. And so will October disappear. What will we find next for you?
Beautiful, beautiful blooms. My garden is going to sleep now with repeated frosts. 🙁 The hanging Fuchsias are still blooming, surprisingly, but not for long (I do bring some inside for the winter). Happy (almost) Halloween!
I’m so excited. I’ve wanted Sheffield mums for years, but couldn’t find them anywhere. I finally gave in and ordered them online. Hope they are just as pretty as yours!
I am sure they will be just as beautiful – and I can tell you that they usually stay standing up.
Beth – My garden is going to sleep too, but I get to enjoy the red, and gold on my winterberries.
