This County Fair is celebrating its year of 175!
The minute we walked into the buildings, we saw young people dealing with their cows. And they were doing a good job – but I have to say there was one young calf that was not very happy. The cows and calfs were all impressive.
The Clarkdale Fruit Farm has been operating for years and years, deliciously. And I have known them for almost 50 years. Lucky me.
All of these vegetables were cared for on many of the local farms.
It’s hard to work with herbs, at least for me, but it is very good to use them deliciously.
There are many more knitting pieces here – but my daughter prefers crocheting – and there are lovely crocheted items in the main building along with those knittings.
We were working our way through the building that holds all the works of young people. When we came into the building we were stunned, and delighted, by this wooden statue – and we were pleased to meet Aaron Hart and his parents.
Many beautiful quilts were hanging on in various places, but this fascinating quilt was created to see which Fair Visitor will win. I wonder if it will be me.
Really great photos Pat! I love the quilt too! I hope that you win!

Susan – We have a great time every year. I find it very inspiring. I don’t even need the quilt!
Maybe next year you will come with us!
