It is Cider Days right now, and Field Maloney, who spoke to the Greenfield Garden Club, can give tours at his active cidery named West County Cider. Field chooses some of the best hard apples.
Judith Maloney, Field’s mother, and Celt Grant – Judith is passing on a little information about the drinks that are being moved around. Celt lives in Bernardston and he is listening intently.

Marsha, along with her husband Norm, offered her garden – for the cider tasting. She was passing out different types of ciders. I was surprised that there were so many good ciders.

Norm has been making the rounds of the group and enjoying the types of the ciders.

The Garden Club gathers every month for various kinds of offerings. There will be other events through the fall. Keep watching.
What a unique activity for a garden club! Sounds yummy too.
Robin – There is no question about the fun, and the delicious treats.
