Our garden on February 25, 2023  – the view won’t last long now.

The Spring Gardening Symposium is back at last!  I hope to see a happy crowd of gardeners at the Frontier Regional High School in South Deerfield on April 1 at 8:45 am. The Registration is $40. Register online (extra service applies) at WMMAGA.ORG or by mail.

Things get right off .  You first have your choice between two programs, Carefree Shrubs for Your Landscape by Don Ziomek, Sugarloaf Gardens in Sunderland and The Pleasures  of a Cutting Garden by Maida Goodwin,   Quonquont Farm in Whately. A tough decision.

At 10:30 we’ll have two more choices beginning at 10:30 am.  Gardening Well Into the Future, with Lillian Jackman, Wilder Hill Gardens, Conway, and The Diversity and Natural History of New England Bees with Joan Milam, UMass.

Besides the programs there will be time between sessions for a Seed Swap, Soil Testing, and Take It or Leave It Used Book Table.  I am happy about that because after 45 years I have been trying to share out some of my garden books. I am bringing out a few.

And of course, there will be refreshments. Morning coffee and goodies.

There is a request to carpool because there is certainly going  to be a good number of people.  I can’t wait until April Fool Day!
