The first golden flowers appeared right next to our kitchen. The weather is so finicky that it was a surprise to get such a lovely thing right by our house. But more was coming.
Hellebores are amazing because they do arrive very very early. We have a line of them, in different colors in front of the fence, and I am now thinking of adding at least another one or two. I do have the room.
I love pink, and many of the Hellebores are beautifully pink. But there are other colors, and I am getting ready to buy more.
It took a while for the Scillas to bloom, but I am very happy.
Can you believe that these little green things have been beginning to grow – under the water? That is what they do! I’m lucky that we have such a swamp that lasts for a good while. There will be beautiful pink flowers very soon.
