These tall flowers are full of lovely plants. They don’t think about much in the summer, but when it is cooler it is a beauty – and it is continuing.

I love the Dahlias, but I do have a little trouble holding it high. It takes some energy to hold them up with straps to the metal wires. But I am happy to be able to strap them.

There are not very many roses these days, but there are various blossoms still blooming here and there. I love having this small and simple rose.

“Alma Potschke” is a New England Aster that blooms late in the summer and continues through the Fall – and it is a great source of nectar for butterflies. This is a favorite blossom.

Winterberry, known as Ilex verticillata, is a beautiful plant, especially at this time of the year. There is a special note to mention. Only the female winterberry will give beautiful berries, but it demands a MAN! I have to say I forgot this information, but my husband and I walked out into our garden and looked at the two bushes that are giving berries. Then he showed me the third bush that shows no berries but we need it too. Plants in the garden can be quite surprising.
Beautiful flowers! The dahlia is brilliant ♥️
