Pink Grootendorst Rugosa

We are making the final preparations for the Annual Rose Viewing tomorrow afternoon. I haven’t finished dead heading, but here is a preview of some of the roses in bloom.

Ghislaine de Feligonde rambler
Fantin-Latour alba
Ispahan damask
Red Meidelland landscape rose
Madame Plantier alba

These roses and more will be awaiting admirers at the Annual Rose Viewing at the End of Knott Road in Heath, Sunday, June 27, 1-4 pm. Take some time to smell the roses.

You must have a lot of roses. I have been enjoying all the photos of them. This first rambler is a beauty. I love the way the buds are a yellow, then it pops into a white rose. With a long name as it has I would probably be giving it a pet name. Ha…

Lisa – I do have a lot of roses – but never enough. Ghislaine is a beauty although she has yet to ramble.

Hi Pat, I was so sad to miss the Rose Viewing this year…we had Tim and Eileen’s post wedding party on Sunday and couldn’t make it…I am glad to see the photos of what I missed. Our garden is gangbusters this year….planning on being on the Rowe Old Home Day Garden tour again, hope you can stop by, or come by any time….I’m sure you must need some goat manure by now! Love your blog! Carol
