Still Winter Everywhere

Yellow Birch in snowfall

Almost March, but it still feels like deep winter.

Praying mantis in the snow

Everything is white and still.

Bridge of Flowers in February

The Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls is icy. And closed.

Salmon Falls

Even though everything is still covered in snow and ice it’s beautiful! I especially like the picture of Salmon Falls!

Christy – The Falls are a sculptural magnificense in this frigid weather.

Thanks for sharing the pictures. Nature has its beauty no matter what season it may be. What a difference from winter still lingering in New England and down here in TN the grass is starting to turn green again and the daffodils are in full bloom.

I wish we could hibernate like the bears! I do have daffodils popping through here in WV too!

Well, at least it’s a real winter this year, right? And hang on, spring is coming!
