Too cute. I found one of these in my empty bird feeder. Have no clue how he got there as it was hanging from a tree.
Fun! And I love the red theme.
Love that Tigridia! I wonder if they would grow here. Must consult my Houston bulb book … if I can find it!
Diane – That was one big toad. The watering can was upright when he jumped in. I don’t know how he did that.
Colleen – I didn’t even notice the red theme.
Cindy – you should be able to grow them better than me. I think this is a Mexican bulb. Brent and Becky’s bulbs was my supplier.
What fun surprises in your garden. That toad is so cute. I haven’t seen one in my garden this year. This is a first. It must be so dry they have gone elsewhere or they have died or they are hibernating awaiting rain. I hope it is the latter.
I love the toad, but was he surprised as much as you?
Jason – The toad retained his composure and needed a bit of a nudge to hit the road.
