Spring Arriving Very Slowly

Daffodils at the Bridge of Flowers Entry

It is still so cool and cloudy that I have to go to town to enjoy flocks of daffodils – on the Bridge of Flowers. Hyacinths and tulips, too.

For drama and beauty I look to the sky.

Spring arrived quickly in Baltimore. The daffodils are long gone, the tulips past their prime and the azaleas nearly a month early. Today is perfect spring weather after a too warm winter, but we’re already short of rain. Could be a dry summer. Here are come pictures of our famous tulip garden — Sherwood Gardens: http://www.gardensprite.com/blog/sherwood-gardens-full-bloom/
