Buffalo, Here I Am!

I’m in Buffalo, home of the Buffalo Garden Walk, the biggest garden tour in the nation.  Over 350 gardens. Free.  Along with 50 of my favorite garden bloggers I am getting a preview of some of these gardens – which you will also see right here.  Soon.

Great Gardens!! Look at Buffalo in bloom. A great city roaring back in a post-modern way with all of those beautiful vintage homes and buildings surrounded by the most interesting gardens. Buffalo’s unique weather (zone 6a) moderated by the Great Lakes (Lake Ontario never freezes)gives rise to amazing floral beauty. And the people couldn’t be more gracious. Don’t forget the numerous other garden tours in the near suburbs such as the Snyder-CleveHill GardenView just outside the city limits which was just held July 11, 2010 and which attracted record crowds drawing people from all over the US and several other countries! June 10, 2011 is the next years date. A must see.
